STEAM TEAM 2025
The Lithuanian Engineering and Technology Industries Association (LINPRA) invites students from grades 5–8 and 9–12 to participate in the third National Young Engineers Championship – STEAM TEAM 2025! This competition will bring together teams from different age groups to compete for the title of the best young engineers at the national level!
REGISTRATION DEADLINE: March 30
We invite students to form a strong team and showcase their engineering skills by creating a unique Rube Goldberg machine using STEAM principles.
What is STEAM?
STEAM is an educational model integrating Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics, enabling students to apply and deepen their knowledge while solving real-world problems.
The championship consists of two stages: regional semifinals and the national final. Semifinals will take place in various regions of Lithuania, and the winners from each region will advance to the national final.
Championship Task: Teams must design and build a functional Rube Goldberg machine incorporating engineering solutions (see task criteria).
Competition Stages: Regional Semifinals: April 1 – April 16
Semifinal Winners’ Prizes: One 5–8 grade team and one 9–12 grade team will be declared winners in each region. 1st place teams in regional semifinals will win a ticket to the final and a €200 cash prize. Additional prizes will be awarded to other outstanding participants!
